What are uv + pvc patches?
UV + PVC patches combine a full-color UV print with a soft PVC rubber base. The print can carry gradients, shading and photo-style artwork that thread cannot, so your design looks the way it does on screen.
The PVC body makes the patch waterproof, flexible and easy to wipe clean. If your artwork is mostly solid colors and you want raised, sculpted detail instead of a print, a molded PVC patch is the better fit.

How UV + PVC patches are made
A UV + PVC patch starts with a soft PVC rubber base cut to your shape. Your artwork is then printed straight onto it with a UV printer, and ultraviolet light cures the ink instantly so it bonds to the surface. The result is a patch with the full color of a print and the toughness of PVC: waterproof, flexible and easy to wipe clean.

Caring for UV + PVC patches
Wipe with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Avoid harsh solvents and scrubbing pads on the printed surface. Do not put a hot iron directly on the printed face. If your patch has iron-on backing, press from the inside of the garment, or through a thin cloth, so the iron never touches the PVC face directly.

What is a UV PVC patch?
It is a soft PVC rubber patch with your artwork printed on it in full color using UV printing. It handles gradients and fine color detail that embroidery and molded PVC cannot.
