Four things move a patch’s price. Once you know them, any quote — ours or anyone else’s — is easy to sanity-check.
1. Quantity, by far the biggest lever
Digitizing a design, threading a machine, and warming up a mold cost roughly the same whether you’re making 25 patches or 1,000. That fixed cost gets divided across however many patches come off the run — so the per-piece price at 25 pieces can be two to three times higher than at 1,000.
2. Patch type
Embroidered and woven patches are both stitched, so their price is close. UV + PVC costs a bit more, since it involves a physical mold rather than a repeatable stitch program.
3. Size
Bigger patches use more thread, more machine time, and more material — price scales up roughly with area, not just width.
4. Backing
Sew-on is cheapest and most durable. Iron-on, hook & loop, and peel & stick each add a small per-patch cost for the convenience.
